Saskatoon’s Emily Clark is one of 23 players announced to the Canadian women’s national hockey team that will represent Canada at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
This will be Clark’s second Games after she previously helped Canada capture a silver medal at the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang. Clark was also part of the team that won gold at the 2021 World Cup where Canada defeated the United States 5-1 in the final.
Women’s hockey will take place Feb. 2 to 16, with Canada opening preliminary-round action against Switzerland on Feb. 3.
