Saskatchewan’s Team Dunstone and Regina’s Ben Hebert —who will be competing as part of Team Koe— are in Saskatoon for the Curling Canada Trials running Nov. 20-28.
Both the Dunstone and Koe rinks will get their first taste of action in Draw 2, with Dunstone facing Team McEwen and Koe taking on Team Horgan.
The Dunstone team will look a little different that expected when they step on the ice Friday evening as the team announced third Braeden Moskowy has stepped out of the lineup “due to personal reasons”. He will be replaced by Manitoba’s Colton Lott for the duration of the competition.
Round robin action will conclude on Friday, with tiebreakers (if necessary) and semi-finals scheduled for Saturday. The men’s final is slated for Sunday at 7 p.m.
