Who We Are

Celebrating Saskatchewan’s homegrown Olympic and Paralympic heroes!

cheeronsask.ca documents the journey to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Launched for the 2020 Tokyo Games, the website focuses on the athletes, coaches, officials and staff that represent our province on the highest amateur sport stage.

It encourages all to be proud of each individual who dons the red and white. Connect, engage and return to stay up-to-date with stories, schedules and results of those Saskatchewan individuals. Use the hashtag #SaskProud to connect with us on social media.

cheeronsask.ca is made possible through contributions from the following organizations:

Sask Sport is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization committed to enriching Saskatchewan communities. As the provincial federation for amateur sport since 1972, Sask Sport develops collective programs and services beneficial to sport.

Today, our membership consists of 78 provincial and multi-sport organizations and districts that represent more than 330,000 registered participants in the province. Sask Sport’s collective programs, services, funding and grant initiatives foster opportunities for Saskatchewan residents of all cultures, backgrounds, ages and abilities to participate in and benefit from sport.

Sask Lotteries is a one-of-a-kind, longstanding fundraiser aimed at enriching the lives of Saskatchewan communities. Since 1974, Sask Lotteries has been operated by Sask Sport. Through an agreement with the Government of Saskatchewan, proceeds from the sale of lottery products benefit more than 12,000 sport, culture and recreation groups across the province.

The Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan is a proud member of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute (COPSI) Network. The COPSI Network provides world-leading training environments to elite athletes and coaches across Canada. The team of experts delivers sport science and medicine, coaching, research and innovation, education and Game Plan services to power podium performances and help Canada win more medals.
