Kuemper set to make Olympic debut 

The Canadian Olympic Committee announced Saskatoon goaltender, Darcy Kuemper, as part of the 25-player roster set to represent the nation in Italy for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. 

Kuemper will bring his experience of claiming gold with Canada’s National Men’s Team at the 2021 IIHF World Championship to his Olympic debut in February. 

Player relations advisor, Ryan Getzlaf, who hails from Regina, provided input on the roster selection.

Men’s hockey will take place Feb. 11 – 22, 2026, with Canada hitting the ice on Feb. 12 to play Czechia.
