Regina-born, Ben Hebert secured his ticket to represent Team Canada at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games in February.
It will be his third time competing on Olympic ice, first attending the Vancouver 2010 Games where he claimed gold and the PyeongChang 2018 Games where Team Canada narrowly missed out on a medal to finish fourth.
Hebert was the lead for Team Jacobs, who qualified by winning the 2025 Canadian Curling Trials, which took place November 22-30 in Halifax.
Curling will take place from February 11-22, at the Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium.

The uniforms that Canadian curlers will don were designed by Shelby Gagnon, a multidisciplinary 2-Spirit Anishinaabe/Cree artist originally from Aroland First Nation. Regina’s Steph Schmidt and Gagnon collaborated on the design to capture meaningful imagery rooted in Canada’s nature and Indigenous peoples, with every detail chosen with intention.
“It’s been a beautiful experience bringing together sport, culture, and art — exploring holistic wellness and what it means to feel healthy within ourselves through movement, creativity and community,” said Gagnon. “It’s especially meaningful to share the symbolism of the birds and the plant life of Turtle Island through this design.”
