Dash to make Paralympic debut in wheelchair curling

The first athletes officially named to the Canadian Paralympic Team for Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games will represent the nation in wheelchair curling.

Taking to the ice in March will be Kipling’s Gilbert (Gil) Dash, as he makes his Paralympic debut with Team Canada in the mixed team tournament.

In March of 2025, Dash was skip for the team that secured Canada a berth for the Games after claiming a bronze medal at the 2025 World Wheelchair Curling Championship.
